So what exactly is stress? According to the Cleveland Clinic “stress is a normal reaction the body has when changes occur. It can respond to these changes physically, mentally, or emotionally”.

Stress is a normal part of life. You can experience stress from your environment, your body, and your thoughts. Even positive life changes such a the birth of a child, job promotion or wedding can produce stress.

Most people perceive stress as a negative; However, psychologist Kelly McGonigal encourages us to think of stress as a friend. What do you think? Is stress a foe or friend?
